About GeoResource Bulgaria

Our Story

GeoResource Bulgaria was founded in 2018 by a group of geologists, environmental scientists, and conservation specialists who shared a passion for Bulgaria's natural heritage. What began as a collaborative research project has grown into a comprehensive resource center dedicated to documenting, researching, and promoting the sustainable use of Bulgaria's diverse natural resources.

Our team combines decades of academic expertise with practical field experience across Bulgaria's varied landscapes – from the Black Sea coast to the Danube Plain, and from the Balkan Mountains to the Rhodopes. We work closely with universities, government agencies, conservation organizations, and local communities to gather accurate data and develop informed perspectives on resource management.

As Bulgaria continues its development and integration with European environmental standards, we serve as a bridge between scientific knowledge and practical implementation, helping to ensure that the country's natural wealth benefits both current and future generations.
